As a soloist, he has given concerts on numerous domestic and international stages. Among others, he has performed with the following orchestras: Sinfonia Varsovia, Capella Cracoviensis (concert tour in Japan), Taipei Sinfonietta, Symphonic Orchestra of Łódź Philharmonic, Wrocław Philharmonic Orchestra, Świętokrzyska Philharmonic Orchestra, Dolnośląska Philharmonic Orchestra, Zabrze Philharmonic Orchestra as well as youth symphonic orchestras, such as the Symphonic Orchestra of the Academy of Music in Łódź and of the Academy of Music in Warsaw, the Kullabygdens Musiksaellskap in Helsingborg (Sweden) as well as the Youth Symphonic Orchestra in Łódź.


He has given numerous recitals in the following places: Żelazowa Wola, Łazienki Park (at the statue of F. Chopin), the Fryderyk Chopin Society in Warsaw, the studio of the Polish Radio in Wrocław, Grand Theatre in Łódź as well as Philharmonics in Bydgoszcz, Gdańsk and Łódź. Apart from Poland, he has also performed in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, the Netherlands, Sweden, the Czech Republic and Japan.


From 2001 to 2006, he was a member of “Trio Polskie.” He gave many concerts on various international stages, such as KKL Hall in Lucerne, the concert studio of the ORF Radio in Vienna, the Mayor Palace in Lyon (France), Musical Carthage (Tunisia) as well as in Norway, Algeria and Japan.

Together with a French clarinettist, Jean-Marc Fessard, “Trio Polskie” recorded a CD (for DUX) with Quartet for the End of Time of Olivier Messiaen.


Tomasz Bartoszek has made numerous recordings for the Polish Radio in Łódź, Warsaw (S1 concert studio)and Wrocław (concert studio) as well as for the Polish, German, Austrian and Dutch TV.

He also took part in the preparation of the DVD (for Brilliant Classics) by performing Chopin’s nocturnes. Moreover,

he has recorded soundtracks.


Since 2007, he has been cooperating with “Konzert Und Theater St. Gallen” in Switzerland by participating in numerous chamber and solo projects as well as by cooperating with musicians from various countries.

Tomasz Bartoszek has appeared on stage during numerous festivals, such as: Chopin Festival in Duszniki-Zdrój, Robert Schumann Tage in Zwickau (Germany), International Festival of Modern Music in Szczecin, Janackovy Maj in Ostrava, St. Galler Festspiele (Switzerland), International Festival of Sacral Music in Warsaw and many others.


As a doctor habilitatus, he conducts piano classes at the Academy of Music in Łódź.  Among his students, there are laureates of international piano competitions. Tomasz Bartoszek also received the Rector’s Awards of the 3rd and 2nd degree (included for high standards of classes conducted…). He also takes part in the work of piano competition juries.

       Tomasz Bartoszek is a pianist born in Łódź. He graduated from the Academy of Music in Łódź, where he attended the class of Professor Tadeusz Chmielewski. He also studied chamber music in Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hannover in the class of Professor Gerrit Zitterbart. Tomasz Bartoszek perfected his skills with the help of the following musicians: Maria Szwajger-Kułakowska, Marian Lapsansky, Joseph Kalichstein and Henry Meyer (from Juilliard School of Music) as well as Frans Helmerson. Bartoszek participated in the International Chopin Piano Competitions in 1990 (as part of the official Polish team) and 1995. Among others, he is a laureate of the Polish National Piano Competitions of the Polish Piano Festival in Słupsk.
